You can now book in advance for our upcoming events on our online store, provided by SumUp. There is no booking fee and you receive confimation of payment by email. Prices for the events are usually on a sliding scale. Please select the rate you prefer. Booking in advance saves us time at the event. However, you are still welcome to pay on the day in cash or contactless, if you prefer.

Map: Horfield Quaker Meeting House is two miles north of Bristol city centre on west side of A38. The Nevil Road bus stop is right outside and is served by the 71, 72 ,73 , 74, 75, 76 and 77 buses. Bicycles: There is a bike rack at the front of the building. Please bring a lock to leave bikes and scooters outside as they are not allowed inside the building.

We dance to music from different countries with a mixture of traditional and some newer dances. We usually dance to recorded music, but we are lucky to be able to invite musicians to play for us occasionally during the year. ** Next evening with live music will be 30th June 2026! **
We teach the steps as we go along, so you can pick it up gradually.
Mostly, we join hands and dance all together in one circle. No need to have a partner. Beginners are always welcome.
Come and enjoy a lovely evening of gentle dancing - bring friends and make new ones.
